Linux distributions for your VPS
Ten images, each the project's own official cloud image, verified against its published checksum and set up by cloud-init on first boot. Reinstall onto another one whenever you like.
How long each one is supported
Security updates from today until the project's published end of support. Rolling releases never end; they just keep moving.

Bring your own setup script
On any distribution, name up to 20 extra packages and paste a script of up to 16 KiB. It runs once as root on first boot, after the packages, and its output is logged on the server, so your new server comes up exactly the way you'd have set it up by hand.
#!/bin/bash
set -euo pipefail
# Runs once as root, after your packages are installed.
useradd -m -s /bin/bash deploy
install -d -m 700 -o deploy -g deploy /home/deploy/.ssh
cp /root/.ssh/authorized_keys /home/deploy/.ssh/
chown deploy:deploy /home/deploy/.ssh/authorized_keys
echo 'deploy ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:ALL' > /etc/sudoers.d/deploy
