Bitcoin VPS
A KVM Linux VPS you pay for in Bitcoin, monthly or a whole year up front, through a payment server we run ourselves.
Pay a year up front in Bitcoin
Pay for 12 months in one Bitcoin payment and forget about renewals until next year. Yearly prices appear next to the monthly ones on the plans page when orders open. Prefer to go month by month? Monthly billing works the same way, with no lock-in.
Either way, the 14-day money-back guarantee covers your first order.
Our own BTCPay Server, no payment processor
Checkout runs on BTCPay Server, the open-source Bitcoin payment software, on a server we operate. No outside payment company sits between you and us, and we don't need a card or bank details. BTCPay sees the invoice number and the amount, not your name or email address.
Bitcoin payments are public on the Bitcoin network, as they are for any Bitcoin payment. Our privacy policy lists what we keep.
How checkout works
- Pick a plan, an operating system or a one-click app, and your SSH keys in the panel. The order makes an invoice in US dollars.
- Choose "pay with Bitcoin". BTCPay shows the amount in BTC, an address and a QR code, and holds that rate while the checkout is open.
- Send the payment from any wallet. The invoice page follows the payment as it confirms.
- When BTCPay counts the payment as settled, your server is built straight away (our target is 59 seconds), and we email you its address.
Paid too little, too late or twice? Nothing is lost: money that arrives after a checkout expired, or more than the invoice asked for, becomes account credit that pays your next invoices.
Confirmations
The payment counts once it has the confirmations BTCPay asks for. While a full payment is waiting for them, it holds off a suspension for up to 72 hours, so a slow block never stops your server.
Refunds in Bitcoin
Ask within 14 days of paying for your first order and we refund the invoice's US dollar value. You get a claim link from BTCPay, enter your own Bitcoin address, and the BTC amount is worked out at the rate when you claim it. Or take it as account credit. The Terms of Service have the details.
What you get
- KVM virtualization with your own kernel and full root access
- NVMe storage, one IPv4 and one IPv6 address
- Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora or Arch from official cloud images
- A serial console in your browser, snapshots, a firewall and an API
- Plans from 1 vCPU and 2 GB of RAM: see plans
Bitcoin VPS questions
Do I need an account to pay with Bitcoin?
Yes, a VPSNine account with a verified email address, so we can send your invoices and server details. No name, card or ID is needed.
Which coins do you accept?
Bitcoin on-chain. Card and PayPal will follow once approved; see payment methods.
Can I pay for a year at once?
Yes. Choose yearly billing and pay 12 months up front in one Bitcoin payment. It renews yearly; you can cancel before the renewal.
What if the Bitcoin price moves?
Invoices are in US dollars. The BTC amount is fixed while your checkout is open, so the price moving during a payment doesn't change what you owe.
What happens if I don't renew?
The server is suspended 3 days after the renewal is due and deleted 14 days after. Unpaid renewals has the full timeline.
