Acceptable Use Policy

What you can run on a VPSNine server, and what gets a server suspended.

This policy applies to every VPSNine service. It will be published alongside our Terms of Service when orders open. You may use your server for anything lawful that is not listed below.

Not allowed

  • Spam, unsolicited bulk email, and hosting content advertised by spam.
  • Port scanning, brute-force attempts, exploiting vulnerabilities, and attacking any network or service.
  • Denial-of-service attacks, botnet command and control, and stressers or booters.
  • Malware, phishing, and fraud.
  • Illegal content, including material that infringes copyright.
  • Cryptocurrency mining.
  • Running open proxies, or reselling proxy or VPN service to others.
  • Tor exit nodes. Non-exit Tor relays are allowed.

Email

Outbound port 25 is blocked by default to protect our IP reputation. If you run a legitimate mail server, ask us and we'll open it after a short review.

Enforcement

If we receive an abuse report or see a breach, we may warn you or suspend the service. Attacks, illegal content and anything putting our network at risk are suspended immediately. Accounts suspended for abuse are not eligible for the money-back guarantee.

Reporting abuse

Report abuse to [email protected] with the IP address, time and evidence.
