Caddy VPS

The web server with automatic HTTPS, from Caddy's official repository.

What you get

Caddy gets and renews TLS certificates on its own. Edit one Caddyfile with your domain and it serves your site over HTTPS, or proxies to an app on another port.

What gets installed

$ apt Debian family (apt)
  • ca-certificates
  • curl
  • gnupg
  • caddy
$ dnf Red Hat family (dnf)
  • caddy

After it's ready

  1. Point your domain at the server.
  2. Edit /etc/caddy/Caddyfile: replace :80 with your domain.
  3. Run systemctl reload caddy.

Order it from your terminal

$ vps9
$ vps9 servers create --plan budget --image ubuntu-24.04 --app caddy --hostname web-1 --key key_8f2c
POST /api/v1/servers
{
  "plan": "budget",
  "image": "ubuntu-24.04",
  "hostname": "web-1",
  "app": "caddy"
}
