n8n VPS

Workflow automation you host yourself, in Docker.

What you get

n8n connects apps and APIs with visual workflows. It runs in Docker with its data in a named volume; put it behind a domain with HTTPS before you store credentials in it.

What gets installed

$ apt Debian family (apt)
  • ca-certificates
  • curl
  • docker-ce
  • docker-ce-cli
  • containerd.io
  • docker-buildx-plugin
  • docker-compose-plugin
$ dnf Red Hat family (dnf)
  • docker-ce
  • docker-ce-cli
  • containerd.io
  • docker-buildx-plugin
  • docker-compose-plugin

After it's ready

  1. Open http://<your IPv4>:5678 and create the owner account straight away.
  2. Put it behind Caddy or nginx with HTTPS before adding credentials.

Order it from your terminal

$ vps9
$ vps9 servers create --plan standard --image ubuntu-24.04 --app n8n --hostname web-1 --key key_8f2c
POST /api/v1/servers
{
  "plan": "standard",
  "image": "ubuntu-24.04",
  "hostname": "web-1",
  "app": "n8n"
}
